Traffic & License Plates

The downside to Houston having everything...is that you also get all the traffic that comes with living a large metroplex. As I was driving home at 4:00 so I could try and beat some of the traffic I snapped a few shots of the traffic as I was on one of the bridges connecting the freeways.
I saw this and had to take a quick picture...
For whatever reason I'm seeing a lot of interesting personalized license plates that me laugh like "PASUM" or "KILLER" or the one in the photo below (enjoy). There are others I took pictures of but can't make out because they are too blurry. To think people pay extra for that :)...

A Bald Eagle on Inaguration Day

While I was there I saw another adult come in with a fish
My job takes me all over South Texas, and I get to drive through some beautiful areas. Today I was in the Austin Hill Country visiting some districts and I came across a a bald eagle's nest with two young chicks. I pulled out my camera Julie got me for Christmas and snapped these shots.

Fast Cars = Speeding Tickets

Super fast, but it is useless in snow...

My friend Marcus was kind enough to lend me his Jaguar XK type R for a few days while I was visiting in UT. I love the 400+ horse power that lets you go from 0 to 60 in in 4.2 seconds. That's .5 seconds faster than the Aston Martin Vanquish we got for a weekend a little over a year ago. All I can say is that if I actually owned this car I'd lose my license, but man it was fun while it lasted!

I love to snowboard!

I was in Utah this past week for work and thought I'd take advantage of the fact that I was in UT. It snowed Friday, so I went night boarding at Brighton that night. I still hadn't had my fill so I went to Solitude the next day. I'll still sore, but the powder was good!

New Year's At The Woodalls

Dad made an awesome dinner!
Samuel rocking out on guitar hero
Julie and I took the 11 hour drive from Houston up to my family's little hometown of Camden, TN for the New Year. On New Year's Day we visited some family friends and had fun playing games, shooting guns (yes Julie did it too, and she was a good shot!), and just catching up. It was a lot of fun! The best news of all is that my radar detector I got for Christmas kept us ticket free for the trip.
