This past weekend was the first time I participated in one of Houston's largest bike rides. The BP MS 150 is a bike tour that raises awareness and funds for the fight against Multiple Sclerosis. Over 13,000 showed up for the two day ride from Houston to Austin. If you start from Downtown Houston (instead of one of the other two starting points) the first day is 100 miles and relatively flat. For everyone else it is a 75 mile day. The second day is a fun, hill-packed leg buster. This is the most fun I've had a group ride to date.
The line stretches for miles
This is the tent for the Schlumberger Cycling Club that I ride with

Me and Akin after we finished the race!

My top speed (41.5 mph)
My total distance at the end of the ride (174.49 miles)!!
