Four Months

James is now four months and, like my sister Christie said, he's growing like a weed. He just went to the doctor and got new measurements, shots, and instructions for starting solids. So here's the latest along with some recent pictures we love:

Weight: 15 lbs 11 oz (50-75%)

Height: 26.25" (90-97%)

FOC (head): 17.5" (97%)

Yes we know... he has a big head (that just means he'll be a genius, right?)

They really do grow so fast!

James hit his 3-month mark today which means he's no longer a newborn. He's officially an infant and time seems like it's flying by.

Trust me, we're treasuring every minute of it. He's such a joy! He's cooing and smiling so much now and occasionally laughs at the mirror. He's also showing his independence more- especially when it's time for a nap. He often prefers being left alone in his crib more than being rocked in a swing or using a pacifier. And in case you haven't seen him in person, he definitely inherited those Woodall genes and is getting crazy heavy. At least I'm building up my arm muscles!

Having James the last three months has had it's ups and downs, but every day, I look around and ask myself, "can life get any better than this?!"
